I think we are probably the only team playing so far that did not put on 5 subs. Just don't get the Mourinho subs at all today. Why take off our 2 best players? Why bring on Gedson and not Ndombele? Why no further subs, when Kane, Son and Sissoko were running on fumes at the end?
Now that 5 subs are allowed the more successful managers will be those that can bring on impact subs late in the game, Just can't see Mourinho doing that as his subs always seemed to be pre-planned. Introducing Ndombele in the final 20 minutes against a tiring United would have made a difference.

This is the only time we will get this advantage though in the games that are scheduled. Later on we have one day's less rest than Everton, two days' less than Bournemouth, two days' less than Arsenal and one day's less than Saudi Sportswashing Machine in four consecutive games. That could be a challenge.
Actually we have one day's rest more than Sheffield United, but there is a whole week between the games, so it's not important.

Your right , he is woeful. But your wrong that he was decent today , he was woeful beyond belief today imho.
Gave the ball away three times in a row and put the whole team in trouble , got caught out from a throw in which is so unprofessional and got caught in possession through dawdling for the non second penalty. Hit the first man on every cross. There are other things but I haven't got all night to go through them.
Apart from that he was fine !
How can this car crash be our only option at right back?
That's a bigger indictment on the way our club is being run than having no cover for Kane.

True, and it's definitely a challenge. I'm sort of hoping that's why Ndombele was on the bench again, instead of just being a lazy fat w*nker - hopefully he gets rotated into the side along with Dele, Lucas, Toby et al in the Spam game, to mitigate some of the incoming impacts in subsequent games.

Not sarcastic at all. I thought he had a great game. And yes, the penalty was a dive, even though he got past Dier a bit too easily in the first place.

I didn't understand it. There is one weekend (June 27th/28th) when there's only a couple of games played. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. I thought maybe there was something happening in Britain that weekend.

The team didn't look that bad. Lamela has no business being ahead of Lo Celso or Dele for example on the team sheet. We need a new RB and a good alternative for Kane. Meunier and Cavani are top shelf free availabilities this summer. A left back and that's it. Maybe swap Toby in and Dier out. Son-Kane-Bergwijn looks pretty upfront.

I never thought I’d say this but I thought Sanchez and Dier played well and looked quite suited as a pair.
I can’t stand the negative tactics from Jose. It just isn’t Spurs for me. That being said if we’d had a decent number 10 on the pitch instead of Lamela we would’ve had more chances. The gap in quality between him and Man Utd’s number 10 (I mean their positional number 10 - Fernandes) was an absolute chasm. Dele, Lo Celso or Ndombele playing 10 for us instead of Lamela and we still might make something of these awful small club Mourinho tactics.

When Dele was suspended and Lo Celso was not 100% fit to start then I think it's fair to line up with Lamela from the kick off.

Everyone knows what this guy is its nothing knew, so we should just let him get on with the job and stop whinging about it.
Lets see what the next 3 years brings. It needs to be at least a couple of trophies given his reputation of silverware every 34 games.
That will be worth any sacrifice considering our disgraceful trophy record since 1991.
No chance he’s here for 3 more years. This collection of players have not got a trophy in them.
We need 2 centre backs and a right back. A proper DM and have needed a second striker for a few seasons.
Hate to get into the Levy bashing but that’s not going to happen from what Jose is saying.
The tactics are just awful if we set up like that against The Spam on Tuesday I’ll be annoyed . They are relegation fodder.
We don’t even counter attack well. Our movement is poor at times and Kane not suited for that style of football. Let alone not having enough creative players in midfield.
