The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

We have to beat United next week, but not too convincingly obviously. Put them back in their place.

What do we want? Dodgy 1-0 where they batter us for 90 minutes, get denied a clear penalty and we beat them with a poxy deflection or something.

I'd take it.

I was going to add in that they'd have a clear goal disallowed in injury time when Hugo fumbles one in and clearly only gets to it after the ball had crossed the line but no side would be that unlucky...

My personal favourite would be De Gea comes out to clear a ball, whacks it straight into Pogba's face and it rebounds into the empty United net...

Indeed. I was hoping that Mourinho would still be there until after we played them. They look a totally different animal now
They're not that good. They have some good players that are now allowed to attack. That works against the dross they've played. But their general play is FAR of the top sides (yet). It's way too slow.
Actually them playing more attacking might suit us better than the ultra defensive Mouninho style.

They remind me a bit of us when Sherwood took over after AVB.

It's been such fun watching them squirm around in mid-table scratching for points; now after a handful of wins against nothing sides, they're all, "Euuuuew the fook are Man Unaaeited?" again, the c0cky cúnts. Hope we ram that fúcking song back down their throats at Wembley.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves four days after Wolves comfortably beat us at home. I’d snatch your hand off for 1-0 now. I can see us dropping points.

That's why I said "if we play well." If we play like qunts as we did against Wolves, then we'll obviously struggle. But we are a much better team than them.

To add to @Cochise

The Swiss ramble stuff is very good (doesn't paste or link well)

No surprises, Spurs is well rub with very little outside financing, also has highest investment in infrastructure, and we pay the second highest taxes.
