Totally agree with all they have just said. This tech is just not that accurate. Go back one frame and the ball release is still the same age he is cm back. When the majority of your body is onside this should not be used. It should be that their is clear daylight between the lines. And also they use the core of the body. Not leading armpits that are lined up against the opposition boot and not even his shoulder.
This disallowed goal is just plain wrong.
They do, if it’s the furthest part of the defenders body back.
You rarely see it as usually defenders are leaning the other way to move out whereas forwards are leaning forward to run toward goal. So it’s usually forwards shoulder vs defenders foot.
I would have thought sensors on shirts/boots and in the ball are well within the realms of tech available to the PL.
Just have it calculated by a computer and take the (clear) bias out of it.

That's makes no more sense than judging us just off the games against Palace and Southampton. Arsenal look like they going to beat the majority of the fodder, what they do against City is inconsequential, they arent league challengers and neither are we. We need to beat all the brick teams they beat.

Every decent side they have played they have lost
Not sure anyone has said they are world beaters? But are currently better than us IMO.
They beat us easily and regardless we hardly have a great record against top teams do we? We beat City first game of the season before they had warmed up, drew with an understrength Liverpool and lost to Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and West Ham so not sure what relevance Arsenals record against those teams are as to whether they are better than us or not…..

Yup, should’ve been at least 3-1 to us if officials weren’t so clearly swayed by home fans plus if Sonny and Moura hadn’t such poor first touches and Doherty could use his left peg it could’ve easily been 6-1 to us on another day.

I kinda don’t look at the team pre conte TBH as it’s not the same side
But if you wanted to compare arse lost to Everton away - we drew. United just drew with Saudi Sportswashing Machine away who we beat comfortably. Do they count?
Both got beat by pool and city I believe
Arsenal drew with palace at home and palace beat United at home too

We didn't today. Arsenal aren't world beaters but they probably beat a 10 man Southampton. They score more than we do and have more goal threats around the team. In games like today that's what you need. As long as Arsenal keep beating the brick the tighter the battle will be because there is no guarantee that we will beat the brick nor the best teams.

I don’t think many sides win today playing a team with 10 behind the ball unless they have a fully fit squad of options and a bit of luck

What I can say is arsenal played an awful Everton side and lost. We drew. That’s a like for like comparison as they were both away against an under strength Everton side
