The Blue & Yellow ITK Bonanza Thread

rebrab

I don't know a lot about the journos info, but if by the four "unknown/youths" he means they won't go straight into the playing squad, he is ill-informed. If he means players like Bernard, he may be correct. Definitely more than 2 straight into the playing squad this summer.

wpd659

Yer my info is the same as this! We mite bring one in for future but out first team is a priority this window.

From what I have been told regarding Tottenham’s transfers is that will bring in two established players and up to 4 "quality" unknowns/youths. "They know they can’t compete” and they are going all around the world to get them.
One of the established players is David Villa.
Regarding the other less knowns;
One, as I mentioned earlier in the week, is Emre Can from Bayern.
Another is a Brazilian player; not Leandro.
They are also speaking to Sporting Lisbon.

Regarding departures Tottenham have had enquiries for numerous players. Dawson; Livermore; Townsend; Defoe and Siguardsson and Adebayor has options that his agent knows about.

lol, the journalist wouldnt get his fudging own age correct if someone asked him.

The Goat has some broadly un-surprising ITK from what he considers a reliable source. Most of it just confirms what is being said by others: The Goat's source said...............

Bale will not be sold this Summer under any circumstances and hasn't been agitating to leave. His young baby is a factor in this.
Huddlestone, Livermore and possibly Parker (if we get a good offer) are expected to depart, leaving Sandro as the only remaining defensive midfielder.
Rose and Townsend will be in the first team squad next season.
He doesn't think anyone will be interested in buying Adebayor because of his wages.
Levy is a nightmare to do business with (surprise) and his habit of dragging deals out to the last minute aggravates the other directors as well as the fans. I didn't get the impression that he expects this to change.
The decision to remove Redknapp was motivated by a wide variety of factors, not just last season's slump in form. Quite a lot of it had to do with the club rule on public statements that "everything goes through Donna [Cullen]", a rule that Harry was obviously unable to follow whenever he was confronted with a microphone and a reporter.
We are still trying to sign Damiao and also Paulinho

A half decent performance in a game of little bearing and suddenly the name pops up in ITKs.

He's been linked to Inter Milan for the last six months and so we'd be playing catch-up quite considerably.

I think we could do with a replacement for Parker, though, if we're letting him & Livermore go.

There's more than on Paulinho though:

According to rumours reported in Italian media, Sampdoria management are more and more determined to sign Brazilian striker Paulinho Sergio Betanin (27). The player, currently on a deal with Livorno until June 2016 and equipped with a second Italian passport, might anyway join Serie A by getting raised from Serie B with Amaranto.

Surely we're interested in the Brazilian national team midfielder from Corinthians as opposed to a 1 in 4 striker from Livorno. There's got to be better striking options than that available to us surely..

But not linked with us. He appears on national TV and THEN the ITKs link him with Spurs.

Apparently he is ready to come, but has time left on his contract and Roma are being awkward.

Sounds like something wil be worked out.

From a very good source.

99% of the time he is simply relaying stuff from Sky Italia, Gazetta and similar and sometimes he's the tool of some agent.

On Villa: Hearing it is 2 years plus a option to extend of 1 year. He is waiting till after cup as a gd performance could get him a better deal.

Guilleme Ballbag

Villa could have gone to Arsenal in a four year deal in January but instead now he has on the table an offer from Atletico Madrid and one of Spurs (2 year deal). Arsenal are delaying any approach for now, even though it would be strange if they wanted him so badly five months ago and not at all now. He prefers to go to the Premier League.

Which cup is wpd659 referring to? World Cup???

The original JJetset @jetsetyid

still after Villa & Leandro but no news..yet..Frustrating that we have missed 2 years of development for Leandro from when he shoulda signed

He's really become a whiny little b****

Paul Bestall @paulbestall

@jetsetyid would he have had chances under Redknapp though?

Absolutely but in fairness Harry wouldnt go & watch him in Brazil as he wanted Drogba & was convinced he was ours.

Wearelegion @Karma_79

@jetsetyid i find it incredible what we see in Damiao that others dont and IF he is that good why we didnt get him a couple seasons back?

We didn't want to pay the big money, H wasn't convinced and their chairman is dodgy!
AVB is a fan though.

Bob Parkinson @BobParkinson

@jetsetyid why don't we just give up on Leandro? He 'nearly' signs every window.

Ha ha last window was the closest ever then his agent did a bunk from the hotel when they were over for the olympics #farcical

Jonny Moffett @Jonny_Moffett

@jetsetyid It almost feels like an antic-climax should we sign Leandro. Any truth in Soldado story in Telegraph?

There are always targets & lists of players.
You move quickly from 1 to another & then back as things change all the time!

Rictainment™ @TTID_

@jetsetyid will we ruin the start of another season by taking too long to do our business again? that is the question :D

I hope not but early last season was a completely different and challenging. Much more settled and trust this time between AVB & DL.
