He's not happy at Bilbao - and the team are doing brick at the moment. They want to get rid of him, and are trying to do so in a fashion that makes him look bad. I know it's a long shot, but perhaps if we save some money with a loan signing for wide cover, we could make a big bid for Llorente.

It was tongue and cheek - but the possibility is a real one, imv. He hasn't gone to Juventus and could be holding out for a Prem move

Of course, bit different players, but pushing for the top and missing that special ingredient in the middle. Now they have decent forwards (yes, we had Keane but he and Berba were dynamite), but Dembele left. When we bought Berba, Carrick left. Not the same players at all, but Carrick was pretty vital to our squad.

FC Copenhagen have confirmed that Everton have put in a bid for Costa Rican defender Bryan Oviedo.

Would be a good signing for them if true
