Ultimately we all know the hardship of losing someone close and yes it impacts everyone differently. I lost a mate from suicide and it hit me hard and still does to an extent, however, and as harsh as it sounds, everyone gets a level of leeway with grief, we all do or at least should from those around us and work etc, however there is a point where the harsh reality is, it can't be a long term excuse for a long decline in performances, that not me being harsh, that just realistic
Can someone PLEASE point out to me where Liverpool have spoken about it being an excuse?
Can you point out where I have claimed they have?

Have I attributed that to Liverpool or is that part of my wider view on grief for us all? I can save you the answer and tell you its the wider view not Liverpool
Haha...you're talking about it in the Liverpool thread, in the context of their form and a page or two talking about it being used as an excuse. I guess I just misunderstood what you meant!
