What was Eric Dier before he joined us. Pretty mediocre, nothing outstanding defensively or offensively. Poch has made him what he is and there is still room for improvement.

None of us really watched him for S.Lisbon and he only cost £5m so had the right to be a bit poo.

I don't buy this story. €10.5m is £9.3m, so we're really taking about a difference of £2.3m. I seriously doubt that we would be penny pinching to that extent. Perhaps we just don't juant him as much as it's reported.
