I've already seen talk of having to try to fit players in as so many of our players are over 21 now

Here's the current 25 by my reckoning
Home Grown in bold
'A Home Grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21).

Fredericks replaces Ekotto.

Mason might be ahead of Carroll in the queue at the moment.

Ceballos will be loaned out.

Falque will be sold.

In case of emergency we might not name Friedel in the league squad.
 
I'm guessing Ekotto is gone.

Fryers might go out on loan unless he's considered a backup for the centre back position with Ben Davies and Danny Rose in the squad already.

That opens up at least one home grown and one non home grown slot. If Schneiderlin comes in I'm guessing at least one of Sandro, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho and Holtby will leave, that replaces a HG slot with one open slot leaving us with two free slots in the squad.
 
Dont need all those FBs in that squad: Walker, Naughton, Davies, BAE, Rose, Fredricks, plus Verts, Fryers and now Dier can play there.....

Think Benny is gone and if Archer replaces Brad then thats two more spots. Loan out Fredricks as there's no point him sitting in the stands and promote Mason and Ceballos into the 25. I think thats enough spots then.

If we buy any more CBs in addition to Dier then Daws or Chiriches will go; similarly with Schneidelin and our CMs. If Rodriquez comes in then I guess Ceballos will be loaned out. Simples!

A month is still plenty of time, and I doubt either of them is on all that much money. And even if we couldn't get rid other transfer windows would probably be open so we could find a move to some third world country like Russia or the US... ;)

Our first team squad is currently 34 (with 3 underage). We'll probably bring in another 2-3 still too. So needing to lose 8-10 is realistic.

I'd probably go Falque, Khumalo, Obika, Mason, Fredericks (loan), Carroll (loan), Ceballos (loan), BAE, Rose, Kaboul and Dembele (if we get Schneiderlin).
 
Why would you lose Rose when he's just signed a new 5 year contract?

Rose isn't going anywhere, if anything he look likely to keep Davies out of the side for now.
This idea some have of Fryers covering the left back position isn't going to happen.
Pochettino like his fullbacks to go forward to provide width. If we sign more central defenders then I wouldn't rule out Fryers leaving, perhaps loan.

Also, this assumes that BAE will play no part and will be sold. Likewise Carroll (given that he didn't take part in the Celtic friendly and was used in the youth game instead), though he may be loaned again.

As well as BAE and Carroll, we'd also still need to loose Archer, Veljkovic, Ceballos, Khumalo and Obika; plus make room for probably 2-3 more incomings.
