*** The Official 'No OOMT for Sheriff?' OMT ***

Why on earth is Vertonghen playing? He's a player who should have been left behind with Walker, Paulinho and Townsend.

I want to see Ade playing at some point today.
Also I'd have left Soldado, and one of the other midfielders of Holtby/Sandro/Dembele behind too.

And what's with Gomes these days? I can't believe no one else wants him, and I'm surprised he is willing to get no game time.

i agree, he's still good enough to be playing first team PL football

Seems to be Lennon given the way the team is laid out on Spurs twitter. Personally I would play Eriksen left and Lamela central.

Agree, though VErtonghen was let off the trip to Anzhi. Walker is usually over-worked and Townsedn played both international games and at the weekend so makes sense for them to ahve the day off. I guess Vert might have been left had home had Kaboom been fit

We have a big squad - why isn't AVB using it? it is daft to take first team players who will start against Hull, half way round the world just in case they MIGHT be needed. If we do NEED them against ****ing Sheriff, then the squad isn't that good.

We will only go 4-4-2 if our single striker policy isn't working. So are you suggesting both Soldado and Ade/ Defoe should start on the bench?. Our substitutes should be young kids not first teamers. To risk the likes of Soldado, Verts, Sandro in this way is just daft IMO.

He is using it, which is why only three on the first team started against Anzhi. That's at least eight players he is using.

I don't see it, we'll go 4-4-2 if avb thinks it can work. Against weaker opponents in the Europa and with ade as one of the two I see no reason that he won't see it as an option.

Good team and good rotation. One of verts and Dawson had to play, whichever had started people would have complained about.

Once again, three of the team that played last weekend start, and we're still fielding a very competitive side. Props to avb.

looks good to me, i'd only have 3 of those in my 11 for Hull, one of which is Lloris who we have to play for the high line anyway

I'd like to see Lamela central. Think that might eventually be where he is best. Trouble is we have Siggy, Holtby and Eriksen who all fancy that position too.

Very strong team and bench for us tonight. If we play a serious team, let's hope their performances are serious too otherwise there is no point all the big names playing if they don't give their all.

Translations courtesy of the ever reliable google translate but I thought, what the hell may as well have a gander at what Sheriff fans are talking about on their forum; :D

Lol Moldavians are really speaking Romanian, there is no such thing as the moldavian language and they did not get even Chiriches's name correctly wtf ? :))

That team should be good enough to come away with another victory. Doubt we will qualify tonight as I think Anzhi will be too strong for Tromso

Think Spurs couldn't qualify now no matter what the other game's result was, think about even with a draw in the other game a 3 way 9 points equality would still be possible so no qualification mathematically yet...
