True, and I think that's its important that he does get these games. We have quality depth at the moment but, if we fail to regularly play the bench players, we'll lose them as they'll leave for first team football elsewhere and I could understand why.

We have the best squad that we've had for some time. I appreciate that we need new recruits, in defence and in the striker role, but we have a series of players on the bench who, in other years, could individually have been amongst the top players in our first team.

Time to make good of the squad, rotate when appropriate and see what this squad is capable of.

A very good post and so true, i hope to see much more rotation this season, for me that was ne of the faults of last season. It was the thing ferguson did so well and i hope avb learns this.

One does not simply start talking about an upcoming match inside a player thread, that's what OMTs are for. So I fixed it ;)

amazing that that is really last year's team.

Personally think it will be great to watch Holtby at Everton maybe on a season loan or maybe Villa. Think there could be quite a few in for him

We have almost the same size squad as last season and until we bring in another CM / No10 then there is still room for Holtby.
