Football Daily | ‘He’s behind you!’ Is Postecoglou the real villain in Forest’s panto?
In today’s Football Daily: unpopular Australian villains in Nottinghamshire
The article on the BBC means he's in big trouble. It says he has support but there is "a sense the match at St James' Park is likely to be significant in how Forest view Postecoglou's position moving forward".
That's pretty mind boggling. Ange is doing exactly what it says on the tin and 6 games is not any amount of time to judge a manager. If they fire him this quickly, it means their chairman has made arguably the most batbrick crazy appointment in the history of the league and now realised it despite it being an obviously terrible fit after Nuno. To me, that means the chairman is not competent to run a football club.
I feel a bit of sympathy for Ange to be honest.

I have to say, regardless of my own views of Ange or his ability, for me if you sack him after what…7 games? It’s the club who look like clowns not him. All it does is highlight what a terrible bit of management from the chairman it is, and that his recruitment is as shoddy as his decision making.
I think Forest really thought they were becoming big boys this summer, and they’ve really got it all wrong.
They looked like clowns the moment they appointed him.
But by that same token, as soon as you realise you have hired the wrong person, the sooner you get rid the better.
Yeah he took the job but sacking a manager after 7 games? That's bonkers stuff in my opinion. You have to give the man a chance.Let's be honest, no-one forced Ange to take the job....he was either really confident in his abilities to show that we had made a mistake in getting rid of him, or he is simply deluded
Not at all. No one has said they are not grateful for the trophy. But I didn't really rate Ange here and I'm not surprised how it's turned out at Forest. I still think they need to give him more time. Tbh the PL is more interesting with him in it.They didn’t though.
How quickly we move on!
Trophies Shmophies.
