*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Bournemouth ***

The clamour for 4 at the back is a red herring too, it has equal drawbacks to a 3, and we don’t have the players for it.

As for it “being a formation they have played for most of their lives”, that’s nonsense too, most players have been playing 10 years in a back 2 or 3 before they play 11 a side.

Kill me now. I actually thought we were going to win it for a few minutes there. This has to be the most sexy season for ages. Only we could buy a player for 60 mil and he looks half the player he was but has been injury prone this year. He will do better next season when Harry is gone and he is the main striker.
Just for clarity the statement above is totally tongue in cheek.
If I dont laugh at this I could cry

I’m not convinced he will. People were seduced because he’s Brazil’s number 9 but this is far from a vintage Brazil side. He’s far from a world class striker. We need better than Richarlison IMO if he’s going to be our main striker.

I should clarify I meant it against he board. Surely they knew what would happen. Although rare that a team regresses after a manager change.

The only thing I can think now is that we get a progressive manager that will use us a stepping stone to move to a club that wants to win things. Ie. Kompany. We surely won’t get anyone who wants to challenge straight away.
no worries mate, I think Stellini already being at the club meant we weren't going to get a new manager bounce, at best stability and fighting to stay top 4. But, like a lot of fans, I want to see attractive football with fight. I shudder to think what the future brings if we don't get this summer right.

I cannot wait for the season to end, we're a laughing stock

It's hard to see it getting any better this season, and then whoever comes in had a massive job in lifting those decent players which we have off the floor, and shipping out the rubbish

But from now til the end of season could be seriously ugly. There's no leaders in this team to galvinise them. GHod knows how bad this could get

Poor game and all, but fudge me, the way our fans treated Sanchez was an absolutt disgrace. I don't care how bad we are, but if you do that while in the stadium, you can just fudge off for all I care. Embarrassed.
I agree, do it at the final whistle, outside the ground but not during the game
The fanbase is seriously split in so many ways and is toxic, it's not nice to be a part of in the ground

Thats a symptom of what is happening on the pitch rather than the cause though.

Sort out the cause (no leadership, no manager, no system etc) and the rest flows from there

Actually I`m not convinced either.Like I said it was a totally tongue in cheek remark. Worst thing about it is I have Arsenal supporting workmates who have been telling me Gabriel Jesus was a much better buy than Richarlison. I really can`t wait for monday morning at work. The only plus is the boss supports Chelsea. Spurs seem to find new ways to torture me every week this season. When Saudi Sportswashing Machine lost I should have bet my house on us dropping points!

That’s no excuse and not the idea of support - to just generate a good atmosphere when things are going well. You need that support even more when it is clear the club as a whole is struggling. I’m not a season ticket holder, but I’ve paid decent money throughout the past 20 years to watch them and we have been absolutely brick - far worse than this but I have never booed an individual player or be part of a toxic atmosphere being generated because I know it’s helping absolutely no one. Just singing ‘He’s magic you know’ when we are playing good football on top of our game isn’t my idea of what a good set of supporters is. And to be honest I think in general our ‘atmosphere’ has been poor for a good few years bar the real big games….

Not helped by the fact that the club don’t have a clue what they’re doing, hence why we have a caretaker manager in charge. As long as they’re in charge I have very little confidence in the direction of the club regardless of who the manager is.
