Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Journo's are a slow bunch though aren't they? Don't know how many times they've asked him about the importance of CL qualification, simply qualifying is not his gauge of success ffs. How can it not sink in?

Because they have a general narrative, all the sheep say, so if I say it, I won't get challenged

Ange breaks everything, he tells them when they ask a stupid question, he tells them he's building something without resorting to the usual "process/plan" flimflam.

Most stuff written or asked by journalists re Spurs is infuriatingly off the mark.

Just saw his recent interview where he talks about Timo and Davies being g out. He doesn't look well to me. His breathing looked a bit laboured.
Definitely looks like he's lost weight the last few months, not sure it's down to illness. Could be stress, as he's also gone whiter on top?

Can't underestimate the toll this job would take. Hopefully he can get to the end of season and recharge the batteries.

Fair enough to not want to care about it being done by our players, but he kind of has to care about the oppo doing it to us. It has to be nullified.

I'm not sure I agree with his tone, but I think his message is that he doesn't want the players getting caught up in nonsense like this. It's one of the things I've not liked this season...getting too caught up in emotional battles (I mentioned it in the arsenal match thread). Neil Maupay managed to wind up about 5 of our players and whilst it was fun seeing Johnson take the tinkle out of him after we went 2-1 up, it's hurt us in other games imo.

Yep, he'd be undermining his own argument to the players telling them to ignore it and then having a rant about it about it in the presser.
