It was a somewhat easy game having 2-0 in the 10th minute, it showed that when we have to we can push that extra gear... After the 10th minute it was all let's play this game through because the job is done. Really did have no emotions about the outcome considering their equalizer was scored in the 93rd minute so we always had that extra goal we could have afforded to concede. Chiriches's transfer is not in jeopardy because I think the board wants as much money as it can get, i just heard the conference of the Steaua coach who said to the polish interviewer that we could not afford their best player... when we clearly will get 30 mil E for the CL group stage and THE ENTIRE POLISH TEAM OF LEGIA COSTS ABOUT 27 MIL Euros. It's just about pocketing money at our club and I think you should be very happy that Spurs ACTUALLY SPEND the money received for Bale...

We just went there and got the job done in 10 minutes, 0-2 , 3 goals needed it was a done affair. About Tanase I think he is a reasonable winger, we here at Steaua put more importance to the group not on individuals, every match there is someone who stands out. It's a pity Vlad did not play(again), but I guess we will see him in a spurs shirt very soon. Like I said before there is a value difference between Steaua and Legia and even though they played at home we were optimistic. The first leg we dominated 80% of the game but we missed our chances, all in all I think it was a deserved qualification.

Like most of us I'm guessing you follow Spurs transfers a lot closer than other teams. Plenty of transfer sagas going around other clubs too. Perhaps a bit more for clubs our size that are ambitious in the market and with money to spend without having the pulling power of the biggest clubs around.
In this specific case it's been reported that Steua wouldn't sell him until after the CL qualifiers, makes a lot of sense to me at least.
Quite a few of the stories when we've signed foreign players have been presented by newspapers outside England first. Unlikely to be the club that's the source for those. In general I think the club is much more secretive under AVB than under Redknapp.
Not sure about the announcements, but I'm guessing the club just wants to make sure everything is actually finalized before making an announcement. I think that's a good thing.

this Steau one is also a one-off case as it was vetoed last minute by a the chairman who was in jail.
also as challengers for the top 4, and somewhat a "bigger budget" club, it makes sense for clubs, players and agents to use us as a stepping stone into a CL qualifying club who usually can pay more.
