Views of the other lot

Re: Views of opposing fans

I think a couple of unique questions per fixture but the bulk as repeated questions.
That's cool. I just don't think that we should reinvent the wheel for each fixture. Maybe we should say that the person going to the opposition board is allowed to add up to two unique questions.

Should we agree some ground rules? The only ones I can think of are PM the admins and ask permission before starting a thread and don't be a ****.

Re: Views of opposing fans

Seeing as we missed it, I'll fill in the views of a West Ham fan here:

me not like spuds spuds got black player me no like black spuds got jew fans me no like jew spuds got jobs me no like jobs me won world cup

Remarkably like a Chelsea one

Re: Views of opposing fans

Any more questions that we should have?

Where will Spurs finish?
What do you think our strengths and weaknesses are?
Where will you finish?
Which of your players should we keep an eye open for over the next few years?

Re: Views of opposing fans

Probably a bit early yet for this one but do we look better under Pochetino or were we better under one of the other 7 managers we've had in the last decade?

Re: Views of opposing fans

OK. Suggested core questions below, we can add a few extra ones depending on the opposition

Sum up your season so far in 5 words.
How happy were you with your activity in the transfer window this summer?
How do you see the game going and what will the final score be?
Where will the game be won and lost for you guys?
Which of our players do you think will be the most danger to your side?
If you could sign any of our players, who would you sign?
Where do you think both sides will finish in the league?
Which of your players should we keep an eye open for over the next few years?
What do you think of Poch?

Have we missed anything obvious?

Finally, the next ten league fixtures, after Sunday, are:

13 Sep - Sunderland
20 Sep - West Brom
27 Sep - Arsenal
4 Oct - Southampton
18 Oct - Emirates Marketing Project
25 Oct - Saudi Sportswashing Machine
2 Nov - Aston Villa
8 Nov - Stoke City
23 Nov - Hull City
30 Nov - Everton

Would anyone like to volunteer to go to an opposition forum, ask permission to post the questions and then report the responses back here for any of these games?

Re: Views of opposing fans

MAN UNITED - How will you replace the great icons of Ferguson, Giggs, Webb and Scholes?

WEST HAM - Is it always cold in our shadow?

CHELSEA - How can you afford a Chelsea season ticket AND a BNP membership?

Emirates Marketing Project - Where were you when you were ----?

STOKE - Where can we purchase shares in Chris Foy?

LIVERPOOL - Why always you?

ARSENAL - Why don't you foff back to South London?

Cryptic ITK?

Quote and add your name next to a game to bag a fixture. Thanks

Re: Views of opposing fans

Actually, can I do WBA instead? I've realised that I'll be in Yorkshire when the Saints game takes place, so not sure what the internet will be like there.

I had wanted to do the Saints game as they're the local Premiership club to me.

Thanks

Re: Views of opposing fans

No idea if they will where I'm staying. I'm staying with family in a property that we'll be renting for a week.

If the property has wifi then that's excellent, but why assume that to be the case? My sister-in-law has booked up the property so I have no idea.

I'd prefer to air on the side of caution. Last year, we all stayed in a property in the Lake District & there was barely one bar of 3G, never mind any internet!

I don't want to say that I'll cover the match, get up there and find out that no internet/3G access. I'd prefer to cover another match to make sure that we can run this feature for each of the selected games.

Re: Views of opposing fans

I've been a Bluemoon lurker for a while, I'll take the City game if no one else has nabbed it.
