"Was going" is what I said. I'm sure I remember reading that it was supposed to help us compete on wages as well, yet here we are, somehow, still talking about selling to buy, "value" deals and investing in "potential". Who woulda thunk it? I actually think we'd have won the league under Pochettino if we hadn't had the disruption of the move to Wembley when we did. But never mind, all in the past and whatnot.

Decent young player, has become a regular at AZ since the last time we played them. Haven't heard anything regarding links to us here in the Netherlands though. Dutch media would know this - but no signs yet. Perhaps another Lange surprise?

10 goals and 9 assists in 46. He's 19 so far from the finished product, so I wouldn't put too much into the stats. Both Bayern and Real Madrid have been sniffing around him, so there's obviously something there. Plays a bit like De breune

I would suggest that when the Athletic report it it's more likely to be true than a load of other unreliable sources jumping the gun earlier. Otherwise the Athletic would have reported so at the time rather than now...
