*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Anzhi ex-Moneybagscashcowala OMT ***

The tiniest touch from the defender pushed Fredericks' left leg onto kicking his right leg, so he tripped up. It is a tiny touch from the defender and very harsh, but it wasn't "just a dive".

What is amazing for me is that Soldado's first goal went in off the post, his second nestled right into the corner, this third could/should have been saved as the keeper got good hands on it... against Saudi Sportswashing Machine all 3 would have stayed out, but tonight they've all gone in and the headlines will be saying he is now a completely different player.

Soldado, Siggy, Townsend, Dembele, Lamela, Holtby, Capoue, Naughton could all feature at some point on Sunday. Dont realy think we can label anyone as a guaranteed "first teamer" as AVB himself doesnt even seem to know yet. Therefore theres a high chance that many of these players could be featuring on Sunday.

Players need games to be match fit. How many of those players have been over played so far this season?

What a fine night's work so far! The squad stepping up, Soldado confidence-boosting hat-trick, youth players getting some decent time, Holtby having a jolly out there…excellent night's work...

Loving this half from Fredericks, wish we had seen him all game.

Well done Soldado, realy pleased for him. Of course, sunday is the proper test.

@OptaJoe: 3 - Roberto Soldado has netted his first hat-trick since Oct 23 2012, when he bagged 3 for Valencia against BATE Borisov in the CL. Click. =D>

The first hat-trick by a Spurs player since Bale' against Villa last December.
