Thomas Frank - Head Coach

The goals in the first half were due to those experience players not closing down and not marking up, it was nothing to do with the kids. FBs (experienced) not getting close to wingers crossing, CBs (experienced) not marking in the box, DMs (experienced) not marking.

If you say so. Defending isn’t a team initiative according to you 👌

This season will be a mess, will be better off starting in the summer as well.

Come on mate. this is our standard now? we looked ok for a little bit against Bournemouth?

We didn't dominate the game, we didn't own possession, their keeper had one notable save, we still fudge up basics like throw ins, the manager was slow on subs (RKM should have come off at HT)

Where the fudge is @DubaiSpur to back me up, this is our ambition, 3 wins in last 12 PL games and well at least we didn't get tonked is the sentiment?
Unfortunately yes. The decision makers at the club have made bad decision after bad decision and we are now in a place where we should feel a bit better because we spent the first 20 minutes of a match playing positively.

And if you believe that, you take action, you change the manager, bring in at least 2 quality players now (now some fudging kid from Brazil) and you push.

Great comment. The defensive players were close to the areas they should be in and didn't do their jobs properly, end of.

Yes true but not end of. You don’t appreciate the midfield and attackers keeping a strong shape and helping to create a solid defensive unit? Stopping the crosses and giving the defence solidity.

Today’s kind of result was predictable. Because we were relying on a lot of young inexperienced players.

Seriously, if that was the approach.

Ring him, ask him to sign now to come in summer, ask him to advise on two players to buy now, and bring in Carrick or some other interim (literally can't be worse)

I'd be fine with that. But what's the point of waiting? So he can watch some semi-pros be embarrassed by Australia and Paraguay, with Trump and Vance chirping in his ear throughout.

Does anyone actually want Thomas Frank to stay as they think he is a good manager for us? Not saying for anyone that thinks we should give him a chance. But who actually thinks he’s good for us? I can’t see how he stays on any longer. Who is there backing him now?

I don’t think he’s the right man for the job. But I also think we have a bang average group of players, especially the forwards and (lack of) creative players.

I dont know anything anymore. And so it seems neither do our board. We really have been winging it for yrs and hoping for the best. Even when we have stumbled upon something good we fail to capitalize.
Mainly because winning isnt something this club wants. Its everything else but.

Aaah the sweet release of finally being able to let go😀
