The youth players/on-loan thread 2016-17

The Guardian: "Next Generation" - 20 of the best talents at Premier League clubs (one player from each team born between Sep 1999 and Aug 2000).

From Tottenham: Tashan Oakley-Boothe. A skilful, well-balanced and driving midfield player, Oakley-Boothe made his full debut for the club's under-18 team only in March of this year but he is the sort of person that grabs opportunity by the lapels. He scored one and set up two more in a 7-3 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and he has since shaped a sharp career trajectory. Capped by England at Under-16 level, he has featured for Tottenham's under-23s this season. Ticks all of the boxes for the modern midfielder. He covers a lot of ground, wins the ball and passes it smoothly.

who is brooklyn Lyons-Foster and is he as good as people are saying?

A RB/CB for our U16s, I've not really seen him though as their games aren't open to the public so can't comment on how good he is. He's in England's current U17 squad though which is looking like possibly being the strongest group of players this country has produced in a while, I'm guessing you saw his name mentioned as part of the side that beat Germany 8-1. His older brother Kodi used to be with us before joining Villa and then Bristol City.

We could have
Oakley-Boothe
Lyons-Foster
and
Carter-Vickers
in the first team in 5 years....talk about taking on the opposition with both barrels

Our U-19s UEFA Youth League game away to Bayer Leverkusen next Tues 18th October will be showing on BT Sport 1, ko 3pm (UK).
The home leg on Weds 2 November will also be televised by BT Sport. I can't see which channel as yet but probably BT Sport 1 again. This one has a 5pm KO.

Missed it, maybe just as well, because looks like we lost 1-3.

Anyone remember to watch?
