I loved Tommy Hudd, he ain't gonna play for a Poch team though!
Gomes looks like a player who is good if given a lot of time on the ball, but to me he looks very slow and ponderous and I'm not sure he's good enough in other areas to make up for those shortcomings. But to be fair, I haven't seen that much of him play.

Both him and Gomes have had loans spells to acclimatise to the PL and are available for very very reasonable prices. If we’re strapped for cash, I’d be disappointed if we’re not in for one of them this summer
