The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Come on City. Get your act together.

Despite our win it has been a poor weekend for us so far. All our rivals winning with tougher fixtures than we had. Hopefully City can get a draw at least. So far they have been toothless.

What a boring game, apparently we are watching two of the best teams in Europe but the quality is just so dire. 1 effort on target by either team, and its a pen... and the usual cheating and time wasting to add to it. The second half surely can't be as bad though.

They've had 65-70% possession but its like watching paint dry, they are so slow moving the ball. I know Arsenal are putting everyone behind the ball and going for a smash and grab is having an impact but City look at times like they are down to 10 men.

Games between the top teams are usually the most boring because both teams play very catiously. I much prefer games between QPR and Burnley, or similar teams. Those games tend to be a lot more entertaining.

They worked hard. Without Toure they had no drive in midfield just two sitters. Silva locked out of the game, Jovetic is overated and Aguero just back from Injury. Seems Wenger has learnt a lesson in this game, and that could be a bad thing.
