Steff, Milo and Gareth look back the summer transfer window, the draw at West Ham and the win over Fulham, eulogise the life-force that is Richarlison, and realize that next week’s match against Emirates Marketing Project is actually a battle between cyberpunkish good (the aforementioned Richy) versus cyborg Bond villain Evil (Haaland). We also wonder if we’re too old to get away with Richy’s hair (not Milo or Gareth, just, err, Steff). 10 minute sin bin for him anyone?

Richarlison won us our first CL game back, he has really taken his opportunties to shine - our backline, nay, the work ALL the lads to protect the goal is nothing short of being a serious, serious challenger/team, it's scary... even Jeff winter wrote we don't dare, we do !!
Sanchez is a good fill in on the right side of our three, 10 hours no goals when he's playing ?
Emirates Marketing Project is going to be sooo tasty, we have a great record against them, but THIS is the measure we set ourselves! Every season.
Conte has no fear, it's scary
COYMFS!!! I'm sooo pumped right now, can you tell ? This is the type of team I having been crying out for, the work done in the window by Fabio and Conte has got us here
This is going to be a long ass season, and the world cup will see us having to let most (all) our players go for national team duty - what shape will they be in when they get back ? Any team ? Management and contingency can only do so much, we need a LOT of Lady Luck on our side
