Yes they are. To suggest we can win the league is laughable.
It's very optimistic, but I wouldn't say it's laughable. To say we'll get relegated would be laughable, as there is almost zero chance of that.
The fact is, despite not playing particularly well, we are in the chasing pack. We have a squad that provides pretty good cover for all areas of the team, and we have players who are yet to settle in and show their best -- assuming they can and do raise their game, why should we think we'll be a million miles away from the league title?
Nobody could say that we'll go out and win it, blow everybody away. But I think we'll be in and around the top spots for the whole season. So, there's a chance.

We need to become a consistent top 4 side before we can dream of winning titles. Our mentality is not strong enough. Winning one of the cups is far more likely.
