The Aussie batting line up isn't that great. I think it should be close, they win it, but I reckon a great Ashes in storehard to see England hold aany advantage, maybe less disadvantage.

Its Saturday morning our time isn't it ??Facing an important decision tomorrow, do I go to bed at 7pm and get up to watch the test or just check on score at 4am when I have my regular pee before going downstairs?

Even better then !!Commentary starts at 01.35 Friday on radio 5 sports extra, TNT Sports 1 broadcast at 01.30 Friday
100% we have to start hard and fast BUT must be disciplined especially our battersIf we don't win this first test we've got no chance. No Cummins, no Hazelwood - we need to take advantage and we can't afford to go behind early on in the series....

That's not perfect conditions for cricket. So they have announced Weatherald is opening the batting & Doggett is replacing Hazelwood he bowls around 140 & is the standout bowler in shield cricket. Seen a picture of the wicket on the news yesterday it looks green. The weather will be 28 with a light breeze 10km an hour. So perfect conditions for cricket.

I thought the uk was the only place left using Dukes. you might think its a desert but you would love to be sitting in the members drinking a scotch in 28 degrees heat with a nice cool breeze as Australia fall apart. That's not perfect conditions for cricket.
Cricket was designed to be played in places where one can use a Dukes ball without it falling apart. Not some uninhabitable desert.
Correct, it is.I thought the uk was the only place left using Dukes. you might think its a desert but you would love to be sitting in the members drinking a scotch in 28 degrees heat with a nice cool breeze as Australia fall apart.
So do you get mistaken for a woman often. The only people who drink tinkle water are foreigners. Fosters & XXXX biggest sales yep the UK.Correct, it is.
I don't think I would enjoy it, I'd be surrounded by Australians. They might mistake me for their wife and beat me up or, worse, try to make me drink some of their beer coloured water.
I've seen Australian "women" - I suspect I possibly wouldSo do you get mistaken for a woman often. The only people who drink tinkle water are foreigners. Fosters & XXXX biggest sales yep the UK.
Not surprised they didn't pay for it though.I'm very excited !!!
Shame it's not on Sky, as their coverage is brilliant
Hardly anything on SSN about it and it feels a bit under reported really
I think you would be surprised by how many people will be watching through the nightNot surprised they didn't pay for it though.
Not much to be made from showing cricket when the civilised world is asleep.
