This is what we've been missing, taking the game away from India, they are the ones under pressure when Pietersen scores at this rate.
 
Cook and KP looking very good on 70 and 40 odd, see it out today chaps and we could be in a strong position...

As you say Hully, with players like KP and Prior the scoring rate picks up and you can take the game to the oppo

Not to mention the last wicket we took, out caught when the bat never got close to the ball.

I don't blame the umpires, they can only give it as they see it. It's India that refuse to use technology, so tough!
 
But can they build on it tomorrow or will we see a silly wicket? We had India in their first innings and let it get away. We need to capitalise this time. Its frustrating that we have players who look so good at times and then do something daft.

I've also got a horrible feeling that Pujara will do a Amla in this series.
 
Seems to be the morning session when its hard to bat then its not so bad but could be coincidence.

We can seriously start to think about only batting once in this match. Got to have 500 plus in our sights.
 
Fell apart from 340-4 to 413 all out, a lead of 86...

Not brilliant but a lead is a lead on a turning pitch which is difficult to get in on, once your in you can make hay
 
The Prior run out was a bit silly, he was looking very good, that cost us. But the ball started to really turn, we didn't bat badly.
We'll be looking to pick up 4 or 5 wickets before the close.
 
brick not what I wanted to wake up to and 2 down already. Need a big final innings from the little man, final appearance on his home ground.
 
Crikey, this stumping call is close, think he is just in, plus lets be honest a local umpire wasnt going to give him out anyhow was he..
