Watching the likes of Kaboul, Dawson and Fryers part like the red sea against Toronto in the second half, I'd say we need to address this squad limitation ASAP.

Too be fair mate, Toronto did not really have a sniff against Kaboul/Veljkovic (albeit protected by Capoue), Dawson/Fryers on the other hand ...
I would not be upset by Vert, Kaboul/Vlad as our option behind a DM.

Veljkovic has impressed me massively the past two games, so composed and strong on the ball. First game he come on midfield and second game he started centre half so it seems to be that he's not too sure what he's best position is. I think if he wants a future at the club, the best bet for him would be to stick with centre half.

I don't know, I think it's a good idea for young players to learn multiple positions as I think it helps them develop into more complete players. More Ajax, total football, Jan Vertonghen type development.
His versatility is a strength to me, just because he's being used in multiple positions in some pre-season friendlies at this point doesn't mean that he and the coaches doesn't have a plan for what his best position will be long term.
I wouldn't worry about it. I haven't seen any credible rumour so far and if we do end up selling him it's clearly going to be to bring in someone Baldini/Poch thinks is better or more suited to the team.

The worry is more that there are big question marks over our other 3 CBs. Chiriches is the one you'd back to still be here and still be performing well come September.
There's also a big dearth of decent CBs around at the moment (very evident at the WC).

Problem for me is how unreliable Kaboul and Dawson have become. Whether it be through injuries or just all around calamity. Conceding self inflicted goals is bad for team morale, and you can visibly see heads dropping as to say "not again". Last season was shambolic. I have lost confidence in these two to be honest.
I'd be happy to upgrade at least one. Would be very happy with Vlaar.

I like him, but he's still settling. Wasn't able to form a good partnership with anyone last season and might still need time to adapt to the league I think. I wouldn't want us to sell him, but the player I'm desperate to keep out of our centre backs is Vertonghen.

His reading of the game is poor in all positions he plays in, he is constantly behind the play, out of position and therefore always scrambling back. Doesn't fill me with any confidence that he could adapt.
