cant see Bale going abroad until his late twenties

there is plenty of money and exposure in the Premier League and id guess he wants to win trophies here before he tries his hand abroad

if he leaves in the summer imo it will be for mega money to Utd, or more likely to City

Can't see Levy selling to any of our potential rivals.

He'll go abroad or he won't go. Just like Modric.

difference is that Bale hasnt got 5 years left on his deal. This summer he will have 3 years left and the club wont be in such a powerful position to dictate where Bale goes. Yes he can be forced to stay another year but then he will be down to 2 years left. Anyway you look at it Bale will decide where he wants to go

Three years means the club is a perfectly acceptable position of power.

Even with two years left i highly doubt United could afford him.

Whether a player has 5, 3 or 2 years left if a player wants to leave he'll wangle a move. Bale won't be any different, he'll stay until he feels his career needs a move, that may not happen for another 5 years it may happen in the summer.

so what if Real offer 45 mill and Emirates Marketing Project offer 60 mill??

But we could go the Arsenal route and concede that City will likely finish above us if we don't sell them Bale anyway so really what difference will it make? It's why they sold RVP to Man U without too much fuss.

We could go the Arsenal route and just give up on trying to win?

That's a fighting spirit there.

This is all very hypothetical and City won't offer that kind money anyway, but if the difference is big enough I'd sell to City. Could help fund that elusive £20 million backup striker we so desperately need.

Wouldnt this player become our first choice striker?
