Exactly what I thought!

The way they had phrased it and built it up, I assumed that they must be announcing major investment or a big partnership with a company like AEG.

Instead, just a confirmation of a signing that was already public knowledge last week.

Bit of an anticlimax for QPR fans, I'd have thought.
 
according to Rodgers, Liverpool to make a signing in the next few days which will "excite" everyone.
