Actually I suppose we just exclude Perisic from the squad list, as he's out for the season now

Im still not sure Reguilon is worth a squad place though if it prevents us bringing in a second OS player this window.
 
IF, there is room for him, better than nothing, Udogie cant keep playing every game, and Sessegnon is out until 2028. Might be tempted to give him a run v Burnley to give Udogie a break,
Although it would be funny if he played v United and bagged the winner....

Which allows us to bring in say Dragusin, but that then takes us up to full again.

So we still need to do something about Perisic, Hojbjerg and/or Dier to allow us to name Regulion or any other new overage OS player

If we play him in that, we'll have to keep him, as you can't be registered with 3 clubs during the same season. So again that limits our flexibility for deals late in the window.
 
With the likes of Ndombele, Rodon, Spence and Parrott already returning in May, we need to get him out on a permanent rather than a loan. Only 18 months left on his contract too, so his value will plummet in those 6 months.

If we bring in Dragusin then we have no need to register Dier. There is also Perisic who we could choose not to register if the prognosis is that he’ll be out for more than half of the remaining season (which I think is the case).

Clubs are often asked to pay the accounting depreciation amount as a loan fee. I suspect the club will be happy to just make no accounting loss on Regulion now.

What value?
He lost all his value in Spain last season with his fitness and illness issues
No club is gonna money on him. It will be enough to buy out his residuals value and that’s about it

Yeh Dier will be moved on in this window or excluded from numbers. Perisic will lose his number 100% too as he is out till May anyway.

Loads of flexibility in the squad
