Sales

I'm starting to get excited by this cull of players. It's starting to feel like playing Championship Manager back in the early days lol

It won't happen. We'll still end up loaning out 5 or 6 Rodons and Sessegnons, as there won't be buyers/the players won't take the wage drop necessary to enable a transfer.

I know you don’t
You never have with him and that’s fine
But it’s where he okayed in Spain and for Argentina really well
Shame he doesn’t have the cahones to play here
Playing in Spain and for Argentina is very different to playing in the PL. He probably gets the time to always work it into the only foot he can use in both Spanish league and international football.

Our club needs to ensure it never again signs a player who can only use their weaker foot for standing on. Pleasingly for me both our summer signings are prepared to use their weaker foot.

We signed him and lamela who both suffered from it
It’s a trend also with inverted players which I find odd
If they can only go one way it becomes easy to deal with

Talk of Barca wanting Lo Celso on loan
I’d take a swap for Kessie
That may suit both clubs and would give us the extra number 8 we need

Can Russian clubs still sign overseas players, or more accurately can a UK club still do business with a Russian club? Surprised we could sell Sanchez to them as I’d have expected there would be an embargo, and that’s before you get on to why he’d want to go there…

I do agree with this but hope we're both wrong. At least we've got a number of signings done, if we can get a CB in at least it shows what we needed as a priority wasn't held back by the need to sell our players that nobody seems to want (for good reasons).

Every season so many say "Sell the deadwood" as if it's a box ticking exercise, and by next season they'll consider a bunch of other players to be deadwood anyways.
