I'm convinced it's Levy. Munn and Lange arrivals in has made little or no difference. We are super fast in loan to buy deals but seem to want to drag out big deals for as long aa possible. Sales too - I can remember Berbatov, Bale, Kane etc. And more...leaving little time for bedding on players. Vdv - was confirmed just days before his start!

😅 never go full @DubaiSpur

Yup, damn that Levy, why can't he just roll over and give every other club what they want straight away. He should've just let Kane leave for about 50m just so it was a quick deal.
And of course if the deal takes a little longer, doesn't work out well or turns out to be a crap signing it's down to Levy. But the deals that are done quick and work out well are just because Levy isn't involved. Having no evidence for any of this doesn't matter as I'm convinced it's what it is.
/sarcasm off
There's a fine balance between getting the last dollar and losing points because of insufficient time to integrate the player into the team. We all know how important it is for a player to understand what the coach wants and how to coordinate with the rest of the team.

Erm...I know we've got a good track record recently but i am waiting to see this guy play first. He is still young and based on reported stats, still has some big developmental areas.

Imo Todibo would have been excellent, but I guess high chance if paratici is involved radu will turn out as good as the others from Italy.
Credit to the club and Ange for getting this done. Exciting times.

Hahaha so now it's done, it's not good enough. Brilliant.

You were moaning that Levy was delaying it and we're going to lose out, now that it's almost done you're moaning that we should have got someone else? You couldn't make it up...

The club has to look at the longer term and not just if getting a player in 2 days earlier will possibly help with getting an extra point or two.
The extra 5 million saved might be the difference between getting another player before the end of the transfer window that will help get an extra 10 points over the course of the season.

You’ve no idea why it took as long as it did (which is really not long whatsoever in the scheme of things.) The fact that Spence is part of the deal would have a huge impact on how it’s structured for starters.

Impressive if we’ve got him when Bayern were poking around. Good work by the recruitment team! Promising too that we seem to be doing this stuff early, rather than at 11:55pm on the last day of the window.

Maybe the leopard really is changing its spots…

We're talking centre halves here the only instructions I got in most teams was stay in the middle and dont let anyone with the ball pass you.

Exactly. I really don't get why fans get so annoyed about transfers- we have no idea what really goes into a deal. All we do know is that it's not a phone call with an offer and we're all done.

None of our rivals have signed anyone that I'm aware of and we seem to be about to plug two of the big gaps in our squad (I don't celebrate it until the welcome video is out) by 10th January with players the manager wants. Boggles the mind how the club can be criticised on this.
