Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Its been a long football day!
Let’s see how we go against Chelsea  I’m not confident!

I think that we'll try a very different approach against Chelsea. I am expecting two banks of four sitting very tight and then trying to hit them on the break.

Agreed. We'll change the full-backs, bring in people like Sissoko, Ndombele, perhaps Gedson, Bergwijn, Lamela, Dele and cross our fingers. It'll be a really patched together team so better to sit deep and try to keep it tight. We'd be happy with getting to the final 20-30 mins and it being 0-0 - perhaps at that point then get a little more adventurous to try to end it in the 90 either way

I think we'd be happiest getting an early goal and then sitting back and inviting them on. Our post lockdown tactic basically.

Our main man for that is now injured. So will we risk Bergwijn?

Agree with the above posts, Hojbjerg had an improved game, as did Winks. He was very unlucky conceding the free kick which lead to Dier's handball. We have an abundance of attacking players, you wouldn't want PEH in your fantasy football team but you can already see him marshaling troops during the game. He runs like Scott Parker, it's as though he's carrying a backpack with weights. Still he's an essential cog in any team being a predominantly defensive minded midfielder.

Based in this, it sounds like things are just starting to click for everyone. Love the way he speaks.

I just think their sensible capable players and they can fix and find that balance themselves surely
Probably helped by how brick Saudi Sportswashing Machine are but the players still had to do their job
Chelsea will press midfield much more so that will be interesting

hojbjerg looked good last game - ran himself ragged too - but tough little fella, makes up in spirit what he lacks in physique

I was getting worried we’d cloned Freund but along with his energy he made good decisions with his passing that contributed to attacks too.
