we suffer from a lack of central midfield hey. surely Livermore cant be worse than parker, and if he is maybe we should really be thinking about moving him on, for both our sakes.
 
zero composure, zero creativity, zero cutting edge. we've gone to fudging sleep and we need to sort this brick out.
 
some of the positions walker takes up are really interesting. he was basically in central midfield when he received the ball there. you can really see our game coming together; we really do play a bit like a Portuguese team or something with really slow play around the back and then trying to penetrate very quickly, winning the ball back with high pressure up the pitch whenever possible.

obviously were lacking staff at the moment, particularly in midfield and up front, but it is fascinating watching how were developing. It looks extremely continental.
 
Why aren't we trying to work the ball in the box?

We keep shooting from distance as opposed to playing people in down the side?

Bale had a shot from 25 yards earlier when he had Vertonghen running down the left in space and would have been through 1 on 1.
Holtby had a shot from 20 yards a second ago when he could have played Ade in.
