Oh well. Who gives a fudge? The players with horrible deficiencies from last year haven't morphed into better players in the space of 3 months. Surprise.

I think it was significant that Parker and Hudd played the whole game in the middle: two players supposedly on the way out - probably a shop window type thing.

Jumping to conclusions about the likes of Rose seems a bit, well, barmy to me.

Players like Defoe and Parker blatantly aren't good enough and it would be little surprise if they aren't here come the start of the season.

A competitive pre-season game for silverware, which we have been beaten by Sunderland in, and will end up playing South China instead of showing Emirates Marketing Project what they are up against this year.

Not a good start.
