I think a certain amount of behaviour by the team comes from the manager tbh. I'm not saying Poch is asking players to scratch opponent's but you only have to look at Pulis or Mourinho's teams for example, their behaviour comes from or is at the very least influenced by the manager.

But you're asking for eradication... And I'm asking if this is realistic.

I doubt Poch says "scratch that players eyes mate"...he probably does say "stand up and give your best for the shirt, and show the opposition you won't be intimidated if they try to"
 
Verts should get a telling off from poch but surely the FA won't do anything else. They have let so much go lately that's been much worse

i think there were a couple of good soton players should we raid ? bertrand, ward prowse, davis and romeu were faster and stronger and faster and seemed to run circles around our players ! surely " poch type " players !

I started watching the game about 10 mins late; from what i saw we had Soton pinned back mostly from then. From what i saw until our goal they seemed to be sitting deep in the hope of catching us on the break. Only a couple of times from minute 10 until when Alli scored did they look worrisome in that regard.
We were totally dominant from our first goal onwards, just our final ball and execution of the last move letting us down.

At no point did i think Dembele/Eriksen could not get hold of the match because of their players. We were dominant; it was our poor last moves that meant we weren't ahead by halftime

They don't get wiped however you no longer by a ban for 5, it moves to 10 before end of march so rose now has 6 I think so have 4 to go and gets a longer ban this time

And if wanyama gets booked vs Watford he is out of the Chelsea game
