***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC V fulham...Sat 29th (today FFS!) 8pm - BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERNADEZ'S OLDEST KID***

We have looked disjointed, poorly trained, and though we have our best defence available terrible at the back.

Missing Solanke (Muani) Maddison (Xavi) and Kulu (Kudus) really offers nor great excuse for Frank and he agreed for all three to come into the club.

I am mystified how Xavi isn't picked, but then again most if not all of our forward play is structured along the wings, and not between the lines.

It's now a matter of time to how long Vinai is prepared to put up with the brickshow, and I'd be amazed if the club are not looking already for a replacement.

I would suspect that Vinai is waiting to see if we qualify for the knock out stages of the CL before making a decision and if our PL form is still in the bricker then why keep Frank irrespective what anyone thinks of the players?

Our run of form is, whatever anyone thinks relegation form.

As already highlighted, Brentford. Not only a manger barely into his tenure, barely into his managerial career.
Haha the team and club built by the manager you don't like. Too funny. All the foundations that Franks apprentice is building upon were put in place by the manager who you're criticising. I'd say you couldn't write it, but you just did!

They've had a lot more peronal changes as well, losing the likes of Mbeumo, Wissa, and Norgaard, their three best players from last season.

Let's see where the two managers are in a years time.

They have kept players who got it
But then there is never any expectation and a week between games

One will likely be unemployed and the other mid table

Smaller clubs are stealing a march on the bigger clubs because they plan their resources out much better. Brentford lost Toney, switched in Wissa to the middle, Developed Schade on the left then went for Thiago, Wissa left, Thiago came in, Frank left, they promoted from within. There is a reason it works for them and they are not often rocked by off the field activities, not least because their resources are streamlined.

Levy helped appoint VV, Levy was then ousted, Son left, we had no plan again for that succession, our summer work was again good then frenetic, we have two loans to plug gaps, we activated a weak showing LWer to add depth to the area Son left rather than have a plan for a real quality replacement. We then create a joint football exec role to integrate back someone who was banned from the game for a period........

Sorry but we can't compete with how joined up other clubs are behaving and when you add the constants of external noises from protests and fan groups using the club to raise their own profiles, it all just comes over as messy again.

Thats the reality for me

Those smaller clubs (who by the way tend to not quite do as well as us), rely on having a stable setup. Which is exactly what we've missed since Poch.

And no pressure
None
Nothing
They start the season with a plan to stay up
That’s much much easier
They also don’t have a global fan base with expectation
And most also don’t have any real history of winning things

And their fanbase ain't a bunch of cnuts like ours

It takes resolve to be organised

You keep on coming out with BS statements. Where have I once said I don't like Frank? As a person I like him a lot, he always comes across very well. It doesn't mean he's doing a good job as our manager. I never liked Ferguson but I would've taken him in a heartbeat as out manager.

The foundations were put in place by a number of people, not just Frank. The main part of the team was sold, the playing style changed yet the team has improved. The apprentice is surpassing the master within 4 months.

If the two manager continue on the same trajactory then one will be looking for a new job and the other will see his stock rising very quickly.
It's up to Frank to make changes if that is not to be the case.

Plays little into it though, you could still be horrible in small numbers and it create a big impact on the side, if not more because of those numbers.

Our fan base sucks, badly
I think it’s scaling up
Said it recently
Bad news sells
People want to gripe because the world is brick
And football is a place for venting for some (ours seems to be the worst but when I’ve said that I get shot down)
I do think our fan base is entitled and not really conducive to supporting a team in the conventional sense of the word
I saw people in Bilbao who I know even before kick of were slagging off Frank and Johnson but revelled in their work giving us that win…. Is that normal.

I don't live in a Dream world with football or life where i think its all milk and honey, been round the world and seen football all over, watched sides who are really in a struggle and seen more fans with resolve than us. I also think being round the club at times is a horrible experience, so of the stuff you hear just makes you not wanna be there

It’s why I like going to watch German football when I can
Different experience

I don't blame them.

I agree with Frank when he called out fans booing individual players during the game.

We should be there to support and get behind the team. But the few times I can get to go it's an awful atmosphere. And people seem to be waiting to get on players/the teams back.
