He's the manager and the buck stops with him. If it's a one off game then other factors can influence it, but over the course of half a season that is not an excuse. He's not getting the best of the squad. His attacking "tactics" are like something out of the 80s with just pumping crosses into the box.

They’re still miles better than us. They finished 16 places higher than us in the league last season. Obviously they’re struggling atm and I can’t explain the reason for it but their squad is streets ahead of ours.

I`ve said it a lot of times but our recent recruitment has been rubbish. I know Kudus scored but in my opinion he is a very average player. Same for Simons too weak for the premier league. One day we will join the big boys and sign some real quality players. Tel and Palhinha, you can see why they couldnt get into the Bayern team. Danso is just an average centre back. We will struggle to challenge for the top 8 with our current squad. Anyone think we have a chance of a result at Saudi Sportswashing Machine on tuesday night?

You say the teams above us don’t have better squads but at the same time say we’re not capitalising on Liverpool being poor, but they do have better players than us. So that logic doesn’t really make sense.
