***OMT*** Spurs vs Southampton

Pretty much gifted two goals with some terrible defending but we took them.
Lloris, Vertonghen and the rest of the back four need to work out how to clear the ball from the back without losing it every.
Lloris was furious for about 20 minutes there.

This game isn't over.
Our problem is we dont play through midfield. Dier doesnt pass it forward, Dembele cant but will dribble. Alli when he swaps in there for Dembele is trying to do much more than he is able.
 
Good first half. Please let the second half be even better for Spurs. We didnt play badly in the first half - just kept on doing the simple things and we scored two. Good goal by Kane and good level headed pass by Walker to set up Alli although his finish was close. The Saints' keeper had given up.

Need to focus fully on us winning first. Southampton were dross in the first half but could easily turn it around. I think next goal will decide whether we'll throw it away or not.

Agree with the first bit, we couldn't keep the ball and gave away possession handing them possession in v dangerous positions. Need say Eriksen to drop deeper and offer another midfield option.

But when Dembele turned a couple of players, space opened up. It was just want we needed. Alli was poor, up until he made the goal, and scored the second! Then he was very very very good "the amazing 19 year old" :)

Truth be told we rode our luck for half an hour. We constantly gave them possession in our half where we were open and exposed. Lloris was fuming. But he wasn't perfect either, not passing out that well. It was due to Southampton pressing us, every time we got the ball, they were tight, on the edge of fouling. They played well. But there more space after 35 and Dembele really helped, skipping past a couple of pressing midfielders, to help turn things for the last 15 mins.

Personally I found we were just doing what any away side does and absorbing the pressure to establish stability in the game before going for them. But everyone interprets games differently :)
