Nah 28 is ot, there was a good 7-8 year spell we were better, and 3 years either side of that where we were comparable. Whats happened is that they have truly improved and are back up to a title contention side and this season probably winners and we have dropped back down into an upper mid table side.

Performance wise, i'm really not one for the recency bias shouts of "the worst performance since..." etc because i've seen loads of brick Tottenham performances over the years and the most recent one is always called the worst. In Arsenal's last title winning era yes I saw games like this. In the era after that we were much closer. To be honest after Ange's first visit to the Emirates (a very good performance that we should have won) its all been quite brick against them tbh.

Why does everything have to revert back to Ange? This isn't about Ange, this is about yet again another overly cautious, lack of creativity performance.

We have won/drawn some games and people have complained about the same thing - the 'football' this season has been poor, and once the fairly nice start to the season fixtures were out of the way it was always likely to be exposed even more and Frank needs to change something. For all our cautious play and negative setup, we aren't even good defensively FFS....

Everyone could see the need for a DM
We sign one and then play backwards instead of forwards highlighting his deficiencies. That’s daft, right ?

Indeed, signing players who’ve failed to make the grade at bigger clubs or youngsters who have merely shown glimpses of future potential is a gamble that should get us somewhere between 5th and 10th whilst that lot from Woolwich are spending mega-bucks on finished products who are proven at the very highest level.

Just have to hope that Legohead bottles it again.

I don't get it. You said all Frank needed was to add a DM and not change much.

I also expect a coach to manager his team in a way that’s begging of their title… coach or manager

This is so basic my school team played better and all we were told was triangles …

It happens every time we get a new coach the fan base starts thinking they are a magician and will magically make the players competent. I saw the same things said under Conte, Jose, Ange and now Frank. That just not how it works, if we want to play top football we need top players.

Finished 17th, worst points tally in forever, most league defeats ever, most league defeats for a non relegated team.....but Frank didn't have much to fix.

Are we supposed to take these opinions seriously?

I’ve also said about the team set up which I’d do different… maybe you haven’t seen that
But to play 8 defensive players and concede 4 goals against a team with no strike.. after saying before the game he thinks set pieces will be decisive too (yet not one has been scored) shows me that he doesn’t understand what he has
 
Some of today is on Frank but the players WTF? Unable to do the basics, Palinha aside. 3 defenders around the Arsenal player and he still gets the ball across to eze to score. Richarlison (goal aside) has won nothing in the air and even less on the ground. Spence Udogie in fact the entire back line should hold their heads in shame. As for Kudus you get the ball and just run in circles. Xavi see Kudus. Today has been disgusting.
