Today is a truth, thats not to say that a manager can not get a better performance that what we've seen today, given the right lineup and the correct approach anything is possible but the simple truth is Arsenal are several levels above us.

They’ve been several levels above us for about 28 of the last 30 seasons. How many performances worse than this can you remember?

Post Kane and Son the club really had to push the button and spend more than usual. We signed 3 attacking players. One was planned and has scored 1 goal. The other two were a panic buy and a desperate loan - neither has scored a goal.

The club should have had our targets and transfer strategy water tight in the post K&S era and they’ve fumbled badly.

It’s who we are mate.

It's a disgrace because we've failed miserably to get a result and turned in a poor performance, we've set up defensively and (so far) shipped 4 goals - i can't argue otherwise and nor would I want to.

Had we kept it tight and nicked a result no one would be complaining about the setup. The same way no one complains about how we setup in Bilbao

nah, there was the best part of a decade when we were better than them, overtook them under Redknapp and stayed there all the way through AVB and Poch

A few , it’s been bad but I’ve seen plenty of horrors at the hands of this mob sadly.


Look as hard as it is to say they’re good. Solid at back , good in midfield and if they had a top striker they’d be better.
