This one is way worse for me, clear deliberate downward force and no attempt for the ball.
I just remembered a 'nothing' moment tonight when Kudus found himself infield and hit a zinger of a shot which hit a defender or attacker, shame as it really had some zip. There were a couple of times when a quick release pass would have put us in but he didn't take that option. Contrast that with Bergvall for example who looks to moves the ball much faster. They are both coached by the same guy, but I think they think differently about how to attack.
It's not just about quickly releasing the pass, he alwys took the safe option. He didn't run at players and into space when the option was there which is his supposed to be his strength. There were a couple of times when a quick release pass would have put us in but he didn't take that option. But he does that a lot normally and often ends up being crowded out. Managers know what he is going to do so they prepare for that. Not surprising that he hasn't been as effective recently as at the start of the season. I don't think he is being asked to play safe by Frank tbh (although nothing wrong with not losing the ball especially when team confidence is low). I think it's just a part of his game he needs to work on. Otherwise he would be playing for better teams than us and WHAM.It's not just about quickly releasing the pass, he alwys took the safe option. Even when we had good times (cup) it was bad. Its been bad since Poch. Not saying I want him back. But I wish we could stumble upon a team of people who can buy grown ups who are established and have a brain and are decent........and can play football and win some games.Everyone is bored of Spurs in my house. I don’t blame them. This is tough times. Keep the faith
Crowded out? How can he crowded out when we are breaking and there is space to run into??But he does that a lot normally and often ends up being crowded out. He only misses one gameLong Xmas holiday in Argentina for Romero...
I don't know the situation you're talking about tbf. But I've seen it many times including in today's game when he should have passed but either held onto the ball until Liverpool were back into shape or as you say pass back. I don't think that is just on TF. Because Bergvall tries to release much more quickly. Xavi too except Xavi isn't yet confident enough to do it more.Crowded out? If your first concern is not to lose the ball then you are never going to create chances.
VVd should have been sent off for that too. This one is way worse for me, clear deliberate downward force and no attempt for the ball.
Doesn’t he get an extra game as it’s his second suspension ?He only misses one game
Think that’s when he gets 10 yellows. 2nd one today’s took him to 9 in total I think. Personally don’t agreed with bans on accumulative bookingsDoesn’t he get an extra game as it’s his second suspension ?
The sick thing about that is the ref doesn't give it, same as tonight, but var does. This one is way worse for me, clear deliberate downward force and no attempt for the ball.
Can we appeal to get it extended? He only misses one game
