Next Manager?

Weren't they relaxed for Covid?

Basically instead of making a loss over 3 seasons due to covid they will do 4 seasons with using the average of the 2019/20, 2020/21 seasons. These are the prem rules not uefas. So the loss allowed i believe is £109m over the 3 seasons. Everton have been a bit sneaky, their owners have put in £30m under the guise of for first refusal on stadium naming rights. Even if the premier league accept that (it will be determined by if it's the market rate) they will still struggle.

PSG are behaving very strangely and in what appears to be in an extremely amateurish fashion.

This reminds me of rupert lowe and soton when we went after Hoddle all those years ago. PSG need to grow up and sort out the compo they want and move on.

Go and get yourself a top alternative who wants to be at the club and go and achieve your goals.

All round quite pathetic to watch tbh. No wonder Poch wants out.

He has been very good at sealing bosman transfers for Juventus.... that could be a decent tactic for us with us being cash poor so not having much funds for transfer fees but potentially some decent wage budget room to grow into.

I'm sorry but any person on this board could have organised the free transfer of Aaron Ramsay to Juve for £400k a week on a 4 year deal.
It's like Leeds signing Seth Johnson.

The PL will have to accept it as they accepted City’s in house sponsorships.

It's a face issue now, they probably had post Poch plans already (this season or next)

- The issue is their manager is being seen as preferring Spurs to PSG, kind of embarrassing if true

City are still under investigation by the pl. They got off with the uefa one simply because it was too far back in time. Uefas lawyers spent their time arguing it should stick because it was 5 years ago. The judge accepted that but then they wanted to use the 2 seasons prior as part of the 3 years. The judge said no and threw it out.
Everton will be the first team to be done on prem rules. There is no precedent for them to say a punishment is too harsh and it is current time so there is no argument over statute of limitation. Either way they will have to curtail their spending for the time being and cut their wages which i believe is more than turnover.

Just get it done Levy. I'm now in the same sort of territory I was last year when the Bale speculation was swirling - getting absolutely nothing done and just refreshing my phone by Googling Poch non-stop. I expect a call from Pornhub shortly to see if I'm still alive.

At least we know there's a deadline. Thursday 5pm.
