New front page/Site issues

Due to irreparable problems with the software which has been causing the double posting and other errors recently, we are going to move to some new board software. We cannot give a definite time for the move because it will be when Scara can find a spare hour or two but it should be reasonably soon. Whilst the move is going on the board will be down, we think that this will take a couple of hours. We will need to do some tinkering once the move is complete, so please bear with us. Thanks.

Xenforo? It's a good fit to move from vbulletin and apparently a lot lighter on servers.

That's the one. Software's paid for - we recently had some good Google months.

Much of the legwork is done, need to do some look and feel work but it'll at least work and we can go from there.

It is a good bit of code. Lots of add-ons for tapa--talk and wordpress needed as far as I recall, I did a little bit of work with some not long ago on a migration but they really didn't need much help. Xenforo does alot of it for you.
