Mourinho - What Next?

Imagine if Manure don't make CL next season (COYS!) can you see Jose slumming it in the EL AND trying to get back in the top 4?

I wouldn't be surprised if (assuming an agreement really is in place) he'd have only agreed to take over if the finish top 4 this season.

Eiher way, pressure is on LVG...

Not convinced about these Man U rumours. He's not going to get much time, no CL to attract players, running his squad into the ground playing EL. Giggs will get the job and it will appease the support and buy some time.

The support doesn't want Giggs. The majority seems to be leaning towards Mourinho.

The Juve coach, apparently. Rumours he's signed a deal already, according to some other tabloid.

Can't remember the name of either.

Saw a rumour today saying Jose has the Chinese clubs after him BIG money - may well suit Mourinho, less pressure

Manchester United have held talks with representatives of former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The 53-year-old Portuguese, who was sacked by the Blues in December, is increasingly hopeful of succeeding Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.

No agreement has been reached, and the club have made no comment, but negotiations have begun.

Dutchman Van Gaal, 64, is expected to leave United at the end of the season - one year earlier than scheduled.

That would leave the way clear for Mourinho, who is known to be excited by the prospect of taking over at Old Trafford.

Picking Giggs over Mourinho is close to picking Moyes over Mourinho in levels of stupidity.

No one will appease the United supporters unless they deliver results. Giggs will be hounded out as quickly as anyone if they drop below 4th. He has no experience at that level. He has no experience as a manager/head coach at all actually.

They should get Gary Neville in.

Very little in it between Giggs and Neville. Both are so far behind Mourinho it's not even funny. Actually. Strike that. It would be fudgeing hilarious if they go for Neville or Giggs. I would laugh and laugh and laugh.

And I would join you.

More rumours saying the United job is a done deal today. At least the press will get what they want from the Manchester rivalry next season then. Pep vs Jose.

If this is true i think Van Gaal will walk.He has been treated appallingly. He has achieved enough in the game to be treated better than this.Pelligrini for that matter as well.Would be funny if both manc teams missed out on CL.
Money has eroded what class was left in football.
