Mighty Spurs vs Everton

Very good for 35 minutes where everyone played well. The last 10-15 minutes was shocking. Coughed the ball up cheaply and repeatedly, didn’t have the nous to kill the game, defended ridiculously high and very lucky not to concede.

Romero, Vicario, Richy and Sarr been pick of the bunch for me. Unlike previous seasons, when we play well, pretty much everyone is delivering 7 or 8 out of 10 minimum. That last 15 minutes was horrendous though. We got away with it, need to start the second half much better.

Great first 30 mins, but then we lose complete control of the game, can't string two passes together. Ange will adjust.

The last 15 was when royal came into his own and did his defending

Very mixed bag, some beautiful football in the first 30 mins, then some kamikaze football in the last 15 mins
Dunno. We look good going forward and they look vulnerable at the back, but don't think we've been beautiful by any means. Everton were on it from the start. Really poor and should not be leading 2-0.

Vicario is just a very good shot stopper. If we had Onana in goal, we'd be behind, not that Onana is any kind of benchmark, but still.

Not playing through their press and it doesn't feel as intense as Arsenal away which was the other time we couldn't get out.
Its more poor passing from ourselves that the intensity or quality of their press. We've had a few moments of poor control and directly passed it to Everton on more than one occasion. Defensively our midfield doesn't really seem there either, its been quite easily bypassed.

I'd be considering Dier atm.....

Davies is getting beasted
You want to replace one poor passer of the ball for an even worse user of the ball?
