Mental Health Discussion & Check-In Thread

I am on a low beta-blocker (12mg a day) am able to do cardio albeit not HiT style...which is suddenly fine at my age. Have to say, the beta-blocker has been really good for me.
Great advice re: taking a path with a proper doctor/professional.

I play over 35s league footy locally. It's super fast paced considering our age. And younger players do sneak in. I literally couldn't manage sprints without real breathlessness. So I've made the call. But it's not great on the other side. So back to GP

Yes, at the grand old age of (in March anyway) 59, I was advised to hang up my boots. How the football world will deal with losing my devastating skill, vision, pace and humble leadership remains to be seen!!! I'm adding cycling back in to cover the days I am not doing gym.

I've never tried to get diagnosed for autism. I've got an anxiety disorder.

I'm too much of a prick to handle to conversations without telling them what I think they want to hear. It's what I've always worried about, it's why I struggle with therapy. At a point I'm not sure if I'm just catastrophising or telling them how I really feel.
