Manor Solomon

Looks a good signing, some pace and skill. Good replacement for Moura, him and Gil will be good back ups for the AM positions.

Didn't we play over there and the Israelis said they had no problem with the chant. As they understood it wasn't intended to be offensive?

Not woke enough, you don't need to reason or put things into context for it not to be offensive ... to balance this I want the club to sign a free Palestinian player

I think it means the end of Gil. We now have

LWF - Son, Solomon, Gil (and its Richarlison's side)
RWF - Porro, Kulusevski

With only 1 game a week, that's no where near enough minutes to have 5 specialist WFs

Agreed
And Gil has some saleable value and has shown so little here in reality

Agreed, hopefully we get decent wedge for Bryan Gil.

Solomon looks like a cross between Aaron Lennon and Jose Dominguez.

Solomon is a right footed forward and plays on the left

Why do you feel that Gil, a left footed forward who plays in a not dis-similar way to Solomon, can't play on the right?

Granted that most of his career so far he's played as a winger/wide forward who has gone outside his fullback so that he can cross with his left, but no reason at his age that he can't develop as an inverted forward

Gil?
To play where? Right
The guy has no goals in him in his career to date and that’s a huge problem

That's because he's played as a winger attacking the by-line and crossing.

Similarly if Solomon played on the right, he wouldnt score much. He doesnt though - he plays as an inverted winger

If Gil played on the right, he'd cut inside rather than going outside

He has played right his career
He still can’t score goals
A wide forward in the modern game has to get double figures per season
Gil doesn’t look like getting 1 goal
