Let's accept it and move on

i said top 6 and that was considering that this IS a transitional season. anything lower than that plus and abscense in being truly competitive in evey game is a failure

what wwe saw on saturday was bad, pretty simple....am sure there are 1000 excuses as to why it happened but the simple truth is that it was not good. we have better players than them and supposedly a better manager, but we looked pedestrian and obvious and predictable.

what we have to deal with is that it was BAD, not that it is a transitional season.

on to the next game, and hopefuly we can have a better performance or one similar to the first 2 games.

something that people need to be aware of too is that sometimes being a good manager isnt about your technical knowledge or education. Some times you just have to be able to inspire your team to put that exta bit of work and imagination.

just saying

That's not sometimes being a good manager - that's ALWAYS beeing a good manager. Without wanting to open a can of worms, Redknapp was widely regarded as 'tactically clueless' and yet had us challenging for the title more than halfway through the season. If you can't motivate your players, it doesn't matter how tactically thoughtful you are.
