I'm sitting here on the west coast of Florida watching Irma head towards me. I've got supplies , water , flashlights tetc. We cant evacuate as the state is virtually out of Petrol at least locally and the freeways are like a car park. Wish me luck and I'll update on here as I am able. COYS!!

I've got family in Kissimmee right now - any idea why the forecast is lighter there than for Miami?

Miami is likely to be where Irma comes ashore, Kisimmee is a couple of hours north of there. That said the whole state is going to get battered, the hurricane is 600 miles wide.
