Guess our line up against Brentford

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou on facing Brentford: "It's a good test for us. Brentford away is difficult as they showed last season.

"It's going to be a great physical challenge, they work hard as a team and are well organised so we need to try and counter that. We want to play our football and start to lay foundations."
 
Davies is a fighter. But he'll be smaller and outmuscled by Brentford players on Sunday. We kinda need VDV. Didn't sound like Ange had made his mind up yet on whether to throw him striaght in.
 
Sounded like he will be available for the squad. He has had a pre season, but he hasn't had game time, so won't be thrown straight in.

And Son can actually score a goal.

I'm certain Perisic will start on the left. And getting the ball to him high up the pitch with Son, Kulu, Skipp all attacking the box and Maddison offering 16-20 yards out.

Yeah he said he wasnt really ready for a full 90 or something right? Gonna be difficult to get results at Brentford and United with Romero and Davies imo
 
I hope we can keep a clean sheet. Not optimistic as Brentford are quite good playing long balls out from back as well as counterpressing in the midfield.

Baptism of fire for Ange. Epl players are fit and fast! Perhaps Sanchez might be useful.
